F.R.O.G.

F.R.O.G. is an acronym for “Fully Relying On God”.

It’s a phrase that sums up what everyday FAITH is all about!

“Behold I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and the rivers in the desert.”  Isaiah 43:19

What new things will we learn and discover in 2010?  Isaiah reminds us in chapter 43 that God has always promised to do new things in our lives, if but we pray and ask for God’s plan in our lives. This is called “FAITH”.  God Keeps His promises.  We can "Fully Rely On God" to keep His promises.

In Joshua 23:14 we read, "You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed."

God has always led and directed the ministry of Homeward Bound Trio.  What direction and plans do we need from God in 2010?  What do YOU need from Him in 2010?  Trust in Him and have faith in Him because He loves and cares for You.

God has our future in His hands.

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

Scripture assures us He will never leave us or forsake us.  He is our refuge and strength.  Before we call He will answer, and we will soar on wings like eagles.

In Jeremiah 29:11 God says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

We have faith that God does have plans for us in 2010 and they are plans to not harm us but to prosper us and bless each one of us.

Homeward Bound Trio has been without a third voice since December of 2006.  On October 11, 2009, Lyle Jackson started filling in with his smooth bass voice.  Lyle’s wife, Marlinda, has also been a great asset to the ministry.  (By the way, they are neighbors of Ron and Linda, so this makes it easier for rehearsal.)  He has sung with us for a total of 6 concerts by the end of 2009.  While Ed and I welcome his addition, we are not sure of the future, due to Lyle’s work schedule.

Please continue to pray for Homeward Bound Trio and God’s ministry as we strive to do His will and trust that God creates a new work in us during 2010.

God Bless You,

Ron McDuff
